1. WORLD HEMOPHILIA DAY OBSERVED GLOBALLY:
World Hemophilia Day was observed around the globe on 17thApril 2015.
World Hemophilia Day was observed with the theme, “Buildinga family of support”.
World Hemophilia Day was established in 1989 with the support of the World federation of Hemophilia (WFH) on 17th April every year to hounour Frank Schnabel
NOTE: Haemophilia is derived from two Greek Words – ‘Haima’means blood and ‘philia’ means affection.
Frank Schnabel is the founder of World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH).

2.   TIME MAGAZINE HAS RELEASED A LIST OF 100 MOST INFLUENCED PEOPLE IN THE WORLD:
Time Magazine has released a list of 100 most influential people in the world.
American Rapper and Singer Kanye Omari West topped the list.
Malala yousafzai, a Pakistani Education activist is the youngest person on the list for third time in a row.
Time Magazine list of 100 most influential people in the worldincludes 4 Indians, Narendra Modi, chanda Kochar, Satya Nadela and Vikram Patel.

iii Satya Nadella – CEO of Microsoft                                                                                            
iv  Vikram Patel – Co-founder of the NGO Sangath

3. SATYA NADELLA HONOURED WITH WHITE HOUSECHAMPIONS OF CHANGE:
Indian-origin Satya Nadella is honored with white housechampions of change along with 11 other local champions ofchange.
A total of 12 champions of change were honoured for their exemplary leadership.
Satya Nadella is first Indian Origian CEO of Microsoft.
Note: Champions of Change honour is presented to those who support working families and help make change around them whether in their company and community.

4. LITTLE MASTER ELECTED AS A MEMBER OF LAUREUS SPORTS ACADEMY:
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is elected as a member ofLaureus Sports Academy among 4 others.
Apart from Sachin Tendulkar other players inducted as members of Laureus Sports Academy are :
      i   Yao Ming – Chinese Basketball Player
      ii  Tegla Loroupe – Kenyan Long Distance Runner
      iii  Li Xiaopeng – Chinese Gymnast

      iv  Yang Yang – Chinese Short track speed skater
