SUPREME COURT REJECTS GOVT DECISION TO

INCLUDE JATS IN OBC:

Supreme court of India on Tuesday rejected the UPA 

Governments decision of including Jats into OBC category.

Although Narendra Modi government had supported UPA’s 

decision of including Jats into OBC category but still a bench 

of Justice Tarun Gogai and Justice R.F. Nariman found fault 

with the centre’s decision and quashed it.

LEWIS HAMILTON WON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX

A FORMULA ONE:

Mercedes Driver of Britain Lewis Hamilton won Australian

 grand prix of formula one at Albert Park, Melbourne.

Another Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg of Germany was the 

first runner-up.

MARY KOM BECOMES BRAND AMBASSADOR OF NE 

REGION:

Union Ministry of development of North Eastern region 

appointed Mary Kom as the Brand Ambassador of the North-

East region.

Mary Kom is the Olympic Bronze Medalist boxer.

Jitendra Singh is the union Minister of development of 

North-East Region (DONER).
