1. HIMACHAL LAUNCHED INDIA’S FIRST E-VIDHAAN MOBILE APP:
Himachal
Pradesh Government launched India’s First E-Vidhaan Mobile app.
Himachal
Pradesh chief Minister Virbhadra Singh launched the first part of e-vidhaan
Mobile app.
With
this initiative , Himachal Pradesh Government is expecting to save about 8
crore rupees per annum that were spent on the paper.
2. CHINA INKED 5 AGREEMENTS WITH SRI LANKA:
China
and Sri Lanka inked 5 agreements during the visit of Maithripala Sirisena to
China.
For
the first time Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena visited China and
signed 5 agreements in Beijing to Strengthen ties between two nations.

Sri
Lanka accepted China’s invitation to become a founding-member of Asia
Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)
China
agreed to provide training opportunity to 2000 young scientists from Sri Lanka
China
agreed to set up Chinese language training centres in Sri Lanka to deepen
cultural partnership between both the nations.
3. FINANCE MINISTRY APPROVED
1500 CRORE RUPEES FOR A.P. CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION:
Union Ministry of finance has allocated
1500 crore rupees to Andhra Pradesh for constructing its New Capital
The A.P Reorganization Act, 2014
mandates Hyderabad as a common capital for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for a
period of 10 years.
New
proposed capital of Andhra Pradesh is to be constructed near Vijaywada Region
on the bank of Krishna river and is named as Amaravathi.
4. VICE ADMIRAL SUNIL LANBA BECOMES COMMANDING IN CHIEF OF
SOUTHERN NAVAL COMMAND:
Vice
Admiral Sunil Lanba took over charge as the flag officer commanding in chief of
Southern Naval Command.
Vice
Admiral Sunil Lanba took the charge from Vice Admiral SPS Cheema.
Vice
Admiral Sunil Lanba took the charge at the ceremonial parade held at the Naval
base in Kochi.
NOTE: Vice Admiral Cheema will now take
the charge of the flag officer commanding in chief of Western Naval Command.
