WIPRO APPOINTS NEW COO:

India’s third largest software firm Wipro, appointed TCS VeteranAbid Ali Neemuchwala as group president and Chief Operating Officer.
Abid Ali Neemuchwala was working with TCS for past 23 yrs and was heading the business process services globally.

INDIAN WOMEN TEAM WINS WORLD HOCKEY LEAGUE:

Indian women team wins Round 2 of World Hockey League.
Indian women hockey team defeated Poland in the final of World hockey League staged at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.
India defeated Poland by 3-1 in the final match.
Note: Ritu Rani is Captain of Indian Women hockey team.

WORLD CONSUMER RIGHTS DAY WAS OBERVED ON 15TH MARCH:

The World Consumer Rights day 2015 was observed on 15thMarch with the theme ‘Helping Consumers Choose Healthy Diets’.
World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated on 15th March every year since 1983.

SERVICES WON SANTOSH TROPHY:

Services won the 69th edition of Santosh Trophy 2015.
Services defeated Punjab in the final of Santosh trophy played at Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana.
Services won the fourth title of Santosh Trophy.
Note: Santosh Trophy is an Annual Indian Football tournament which is also called Senior National Football Championship.

CRISIL APPOINTS ASHU SUYASH:

CRISIL appoints Ashu Suyash as the new M.D. and C.E.O. of the company.
Ashu Suyash replaced Roopa Kudva to become the new M.D. and C.E.O. of CRISIL.

INFLATION AT RECORD LOW IN INDIA:

For the fourth straight month, wholesale price inflation showed negative growth.

With the continuous decrease in Inflation, it is expected that RBI would cut policy rates by 100 Basis points.
